ARMA soft ballistic inserts (25×30 cm) are designed to be placed under a hard ballistic plate in the front and rear compartments of tactical plate carriers or body armor. Made from UHMWPE, these inserts maintain protective performance even when wet, unlike Kevlar.
They provide fragmentation and backface deformation protection, reducing trauma during plate impact and enhancing overall ballistic safety.
According to DSTU 8782:2018:

Class 1: 25 layers UHMWPE, stops 9×18 and 9×19 mm, weight — 280 g, BFD ≤ 23 mm

Class 2: 40 layers UHMWPE, also stops 7.62×25 mm, weight — 450 g, BFD ≤ 20 mm
Compatible with most plate carriers designed for 25×30 cm plates. Flexible, lightweight, and water-resistant.
